Aktuelle Regelung zum Umgang mit Dissertationen sowie Informationen zur Ausgabe der Urkunden in den Dekanaten der Fakultäten
Bitte beachten Sie:
[English version below] Die Universitätsbibliothek ist seit dem 21.3.2020 geschlossen. Alle Vor-Ort-Dienstleistungen sind voraussichtlich bis zum 19. April eingestellt und alle Mitarbeiter*innen befinden sich im HomeOffice.
Eine Annahme von gedruckten Pflichtexemplaren/Unterlagen ist daher bis auf Weiteres leider nicht möglich, entsprechend können auch keine Empfangsbestätigungen weitergeleitet werden.
Die in den Fakultäten geltenden aktuellen Regelungen haben wir für Sie nachfolgenden zusammengestellt. Bitte wenden Sie sich mit Ihren Fragen an die dort angegebenen Ansprechpersonen. Selbstverständlich versuchen auch wir Sie bei Ihren Anliegen zu unterstützen, richten Sie dazu Ihre Anfrage an die Hochschulschriften- und Tauschstelle der Universitätsbibliothek: tausch@ub.uni-siegen.de
Hier ein aktueller Überblick (Stand: 1.4.20) über den Umgang mit Dissertationen / Ausgabe der Urkunden in den Dekanaten der Fakultäten:
Fakultät I
Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation werden die Veröffentlichungsfristen verlängert, der offizielle Beschluss folgt. Die Fakultät I vergibt nach Vorlage eines Verlagsvertrages den Titel „Dr. des.“, so dass in diesen Fällen keine Eile für die Abgabe der Pflichtexemplare besteht.

Fakultät II
Die Fakultät II stellt nach dem erfolgreichen Abschluss aller prüfungsrelevanten Teile der Promotion eine vorläufige Urkunde gem. §16 Abs.1 PromO aus.
Insofern ist die Ausstellung der endgültigen Urkunde nicht unmittelbar an Fristen gebunden.

Fakultät III
Im derzeitigen Minimalbetrieb der Universität Siegen werden keine Promotions- und Habilitationsurkunden ausgestellt.

Fakultät IV
Es existiert eine Sondervereinbarung der Universitätsbibliothek mit dem Sekretariat des Dekanats der Fakultät IV für:
- Gedruckte Pflichtexemplare/Unterlagen, die für die Universitätsbibliothek bestimmt sind
- Die elektronische Veröffentlichung von Dissertationen

Please note:
The University Library is closed since March 21st, 2020. All on-site services are expected to remain discontinued until April 19th and all employees are in home office.
Unfortunately, acceptance of printed mandatory copies / documents is not possible until further notice, and accordingly no confirmations of receipt can be forwarded.

Here is a current overview (as of 1 April 20) on how dissertations / issues of certificates in the dean’s offices of the faculties are taken care of:
Faculty I
Due to the current situation, the publication deadlines will be extended; an official decision will follow.
The faculty I awards the title „Dr. des.“ after presentation of a publishing contract; therefore, in these cases there is no hurry to submit the deposit copies.

Faculty II
Faculty II issues a provisional/preliminary certificate according to §16 Abs.1 PromO after the successful completion of all exam-relevant parts of the doctorate.
Insofar, the issue of the final certificate is not directly bound by deadlines.

Faculty III

There is a special agreement between the University Library and the secretariat of the dean’s office of faculty IV for:
