Am Donnerstag, 02. Juli 2026 wird von 11:00 bis 14:00 Uhr die Wiese vor dem LEO auf dem Campus AR nach Bauarbeiten wieder eröffnet.
Die Bibliothek ist mit einem eigenen Stand vertreten, an dem es kostenfreie Waffeln gibt und an dem Spiele, Sportgeräte oder Picknickdecken ausgeliehen werden können. Wir haben zum Beispiel ein Wikinger-Schach, ein Boccia-Spiel, Frisbees, ein Cornhole-Spiel, ein Roundnet und jeweils einen Fuß- und einen Volleyball.
Alle diese Spiel- und Sportgeräte werden nach der Einweihung der LEOwiese wieder in der Hauptbibliothek AR aufbewahrt. Sie sind im Katalog plus zu finden und können an der Leihstelle AR ausgeliehen werden.
Ergänzend gibt es auch Spiel- und Sportgeräte in der Teilbibliothek Paul-Bonatz-Straße (PB).

On Thursday, 2 July 2026, from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm, the lawn in front of LEO on the AR campus will reopen following construction work.
The library will have its own stand, where free waffles will be available and where you can borrow games, sports equipment or picnic blankets. For example, we have a Viking chess set, a boccia set, Frisbees, a cornhole set, a roundnet set, and one football and one volleyball.
All these games and sports equipment will be stored back in the Main Library AR after the LEOwiese opening ceremony. They can be found in the ‘Katalog plus’ and can be borrowed from the AR circulation desk.
In addition, games and sports equipment are also available at the Paul-Bonatz-Straße branch library (PB).
