- Alle Arbeitsplätze stehen an allen Bibliotheksstandorten (außer ENC) komplett zur Verfügung.
- Gruppenarbeitsräume können als Gruppenarbeitsräume genutzt werden. Eine Reservierung ist über das Gruppenraum-Reservierungssystem möglich.
- Alle PC-Arbeitsplätze, Scanner und Kopierer sind nutzbar.
- Ab dem 04.04.2022 entfällt die Möglichkeit, Bestände der Hauptbibliothek Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR) und den Teilbibliotheken Hölderlinstraße (H), Paul-Bonatz-Straße (PB) und Unteres Schloss (US) über den Katalog plus zu bestellen.
- Bis einschließlich Sonntag, den 03.04.2022 können ausleihbare Medien der oben genannten Bibliotheksstandorte bestellt werden, danach nicht mehr.
- Die Bestände der Teilbibliothek Emmy-Noether-Campus (ENC) und des geschlossenen Magazins bleiben jedoch weiterhin über den Bibliothekskatalog (Katalog plus) bestellbar.
- Unser Aufsatzlieferservice steht Ihnen außerdem weiterhin zur Verfügung.
Carrels (kleine Einzelarbeitsräume) sind zum Schreiben von Abschlussarbeiten bzw. wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten mietbar, ebenso können Arbeitsplatzwagen gebucht werden. Die fahrbaren und verschließbaren Wagen zum längerfristigen Deponieren von eigenen Unterlagen und Arbeitsmaterialien stehen Studierenden der Universität Siegen mit entsprechendem Bibliotheksausweis bzw. einer für die Bibliotheksbenutzung freigeschalteten USiCard zur Verfügung.

As of April 04th, the 3G rule will no longer apply to all library users at the UB, as will the requirement to wear a mask. In order to enter the presence with the necessary sense of responsibility, we urgently appeal to all university members to wear a (FFP2) mask at all times indoors, except at a fixed (seat) place that guarantees a distance of at least 1.5 meters to other people.
We assume that all university members take the wearing of a mask for granted in the spirit of mutual responsibility and consideration.

Up to and including Sunday, April 3rd, 2022, borrowable media from the above-mentioned library locations can be ordered, after that no more.
However, the holdings of the Branch Library Emmy-Noether-Campus (ENC) and the closed stacks will continue to be available for order via the library catalog (Katalog plus).
Our article delivery service is still available. With this service, articles can be ordered from nearly all printed journals of the stock of Siegen University Library. The journal titles are marked in the Katalog plus with a corresponding link to the order form. You will receive the scanned articles as pdf-files attached to an e-mail
- All workplaces are completely available at all library locations.
- Group study rooms can be used as group study rooms. A reservation can be made via the group room reservation system.
- All PC workstations, scanners and copiers can be used.
Carrels (small individual workrooms) for writing theses or academic papers can also be rented.
It is also possible to book workstation trolleys. The mobile and lockable workstation trolleys for long-term storage of your own documents and work materials are available to students of the University of Siegen with the corresponding library card or a USiCard activated for library use.
Carrels as well as workstation trolleys are offered in the Main Library AR and in the Branch Library US. You can reserve them after login via Katalog plus. You will find the respective links on our website Learning and Working Environment.
Please remember to use the self-renewal option in good time when loan periods expire or to return media during the changed opening hours.
