Grund hierfür ist ein Rechenzentrumswechsel des Bibliotheksmanagementsystems Alma.

- Die Anzeige von Exemplaren und daher auch Vormerkungen sowie Magazin- und Aufsatzbestellungen sind nicht verfügbar.
- Die Anmeldung im Bibliothekskonto und alle dort erreichbaren Funktionen (Konto-Anzeige, Verlängerungen, Stornierungen), sowie Fernleihbestellungen sind nicht möglich.
- Auch die Kontoanzeige und die Verlängerungsfunktion in der Uni Siegen App werden leider nicht zur Verfügung stehen.
Das Recherchieren nach Literatur und der Zugriff auf einen Großteil der elektronischen Medien sollte funktionieren, wenn Sie sich im VPN der Hochschule befinden.
Ausleihe und Rückgabe, Gebührenbezahlung
- Unsere Selbstverbucher und Rückgabeautomaten stehen nicht zur Verfügung.
- Eine Verbuchung von Medien ist an keiner der Leihstellen möglich.
- Der Kassenautomat in der Hauptbibliothek AR ist außer Betrieb.
- Es ist keine Begleichung von Säumnis- und Fernleihgebüren möglich, ebenso kein Verkauf von Pfand-Schließfachkarten.
Die Hauptbibliothek Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR) und die Teilbibliothek Unteres Schloss (US) sind daher am Samstag, 12. Juli 2025 nur als Lernort geöffnet.

The reason for this is a computer centre change of the library management system Alma.
Katalog plus
- The display of media items and therefore also reservations as well as magazine and article orders are not available.
- Registration in the library account and all functions accessible there (account display, renewals, cancellations) as well as interlibrary loan requests are not possible.
- Unfortunately, the account display and the renewal function in the Uni Siegen App will also not be available.
You should be able to search for literature and access the majority of electronic media if you are connected to the university’s VPN.
Borrowing and returning items, paying fees
- Our self-service terminals and return machines are not available.
- It is not possible to book media (borrow or return) at any of the circulation desks.
- The pax machine in the main library AR is out of order.
- It is not possible to pay late fees and interlibrary loan fees, nor is it possible to sell deposit locker cards.
The Main library Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR) and the Branch library Unteres Schloss (US) will therefore only be open as a place of learning on Saturday, 12 July 2025.
